WIW 1969 340 block

Hi Experts,

I've had this 340 block for several years in a storage shed. It is very dirty - I have not had it thoroughly examined.

the fact that it was cast in '69 is of secondary importance - the fact that it is a '70 model year 340 is what would be important to somebody looking for a specific year engine

decades ago, when engines were rebuilt - they would be tanked in solutions that would leave the block "BARE" & were not safe for consumption, not so for today's cleaning products
