The brake master cylinder and brake booster were badly overpainted in silver years ago.
What colour would the master have been originally? I'm thinking natural cast?
How about the brake booster?

Midland-Ross boosters were gold cad with a natural master cylinder. Bendix boosters were black with a black master cylinder.

Bendix - held together by a crimped flanged
Midland-Ross - held together by a band clamp

This is what should be the original master in my 73.

My master cylinder looks just like yours; except for the crappy overpaint on mine

The dimple in the "nose" of that master cylinder says it's an aftermarket part.  Bendix didn't fixture their castings that way when they machined them.
My opinion on early-mid 70s Mopar master cylinders is that they had a sort of parkerized gray finish, as opposed to the black painted assemblies of '67 through '70.
