So I have sent my 1970 cuda brake booster into a shop to get rebuilt.  I am hopeful this will improve my braking system for the convertible.  My question is . . what color should it be?   :dunno:
Drive it like you stole it . . . And they're CHASING you!

1970 cuda Joe

Semigloss black for the single diaphragm along with the master cyl & cap for 1970. I don't know about dual boosters....Joe

I, too, concur semi-gloss black on the booster.  But I vote the master cylinder remain bare metal, and the cap yellow zinc plated.

The Bendix boosters in 1970 are painted semi gloss black.
In 1970, disc brake master cylinders are semi gloss black, both casting and cap, painted as an assembly.
Drum brake MCs were bare with plated cap.

What color "should" it be... my vote is for PINK!   :pokeeye:  What color were they originally, semi gloss black.  ;)

I like this option with the color contrast, I had mine rebuilt and is a black booster, master cylinder bare metal, and yellow zinc cap...will have a hard decision to make to cover it all in semigloss black when the time comes.
