If the master cylinder is a 1970 disc 2229171, Brake and Equipment Warehouse is the only game in town to rebuild them.  Some years back there were people complaining that they had sent 2229171s to White Post, and they didn't work when they got them back.  And they got a surly attitude when they called back about the issues.  Appears they were using the 1" bore kit for the A body MC, which has a different length primary piston and that caused the problem.
I am not sure if they ever figured out how to do them correctly, but why take a chance.
Most master cylinder rebuild kits have been discontinued in recent years.  The A body kit had the correct seals and those were what you'd use to service the original pistons in a 9171 to rebuild them.  I'd be interested in knowing where the rebuilders get seals now, as that A body MC kit was discontinued 4 or 5 years ago.
