Got a new master cylinder for my 71 road runner (I know not an E body) and trying to bench bleed takes way to much muscle to push the piston. It has  a very strong return spring. I have bench bled many master cylinders and this thing feels like a clutch spring.

I switched to using a syringe on the output fittings.

What is the original like? Sounds strange if you have done this before
I used the syringe method on mine also

I usually  push the piston with one hand on master cylinders in the past but this new one is taking both hands and leaning into it really hard. I'm sure my leg will be able to push it but I don't think it will feel right. When searching for this replacement I noticed that most suppliers are now showing a bore size of 1.03 inches regardless of the application. I'm tempted to take this one apart and how thick the spring is. I am trying to replace the master in my 71 road runner with a  manual disc front and drum rear master cylinder for a 75 plymouth duster to get the small bore.
