Tire sizing for 70 challenger 426 vert

Hello, I'm about to be in tire buying mode for 70 Challenger 426 convertible. Have Rallye 15x7 w/ 4 inch BS all around. Stock Dana 60 with 6 leaf springs, no modifications to wheel openings.
This car would have had E60-15 from the factory.
Obviously, not wanting any rubbing, and a taller stance in the rear. What size radials (probably going w/ BFG TA's) would work for this?

I suppose NIKKI is the closest match here... HEMI vert an all..... geeez this is bad I've had these on for awhile... as I recall 245's frt and 265's rear( I can look tomorrow to confirm)... but wheels are vintique 8" in rear. All 15's no rubs. Nice stance IMO -  Take a look...

Coopers or firestone or Mickey Thompson
I don't like the look of 275 60 in the rear , too tall , 275 50 are a better fit or a 255 60
Nitto makes a great drag radial in 275 50
You can get them from discount tire direct online

Looks like a broken belt Neil. Seen this in many brands over the years. Altho my BFG's have been on for some years, they have worn well and I've been without issue. When it come time to replace, I admit I want something a little more sticky, scince I've done susp mods an all

BFG is poorly made , I have seen them over 1/4 out of round , belt failures even at 150 miles when new , there are far better choices

Hemi cars were originally equipped with F60's not E's......My vote is for PolyGlas F60's all around...

I agree the F60's would look the best and be the correct tire, especially if this is a show car.  But the jury is still out on handling if you plan to drive the car a lot. If you want white letter tires, you are limited pretty much to BFG, MT or Cooper.  If you are open to black wall, I would look at Nitto as they have some great performing tires.

245X60X15 sometimes rub on the front. I generally run 235X60X15 on the front and 245 or 255X60X15 on the rear especially with 7 inch rims all around.

I agree, I read that thread last night.
Leaning towards 225 / 60 / 15 front or a 235.
And 245 / 60 / 15 maybe 255 on the rear.
Has to be white lettered!

Oh, according to Scott E. Ross, The definitive Barracuda and Challenger guide 1970-1974 book the hemi's came with E60-15. A typo possibly?
