Trim Rings For 15 x 7 Rallys ??

Has anyone had originals restored lately with any luck?  I have only heard of one person doing them.  And I'd heard a few complaints from customers waiting a long long time.
Also, I've seem some restored ones being sold on forums where some had some damage done in the resto process, corners worn through or overstressed etc.
I'm not confident trying to get originals restored is a good option?
I used Wheel Vintiques on my '71, which is a great car but not concours restoration. They really don't bother me, and wouldn't unless I was trying to compete in OE level judging with it.
