73 plymouth barracuda

Will an earlier 1970 brake booster fit on a 73 Barracuda?  My brake booster failed. I have a large vacuum leak in the car from it. It was rebuilt about a year ago through rock auto. It worked for about 225 miles. This time I would like it  to last longer.  It looks like every store is out of Cardone 54-73705 but some of the stores have Cardone 54-73701 for a 1970.

There is place in San Jose,Calif that rebuild boosters. That is all they do. They probably have a 73 ready to go.I bought 2 70 boosters for 150 dollars each with no core charge. The name of the place is Master power brakes.

Why don't you have rebuilt by Power Brake Exchange in Portland, OR? Good serivce for a reasonable price.

The rod coming out of the booster is likely not the same width, and won't fit the linkage inside the car without modifications.
