You're still publicly whining! Settle your differences off the forum and quit hi-jacking someone else thread.

Tried, Alan ignored them.  So publically showing that is in order, maybe he'll step up and make. at least, this go away.

:iagree: Enough is enough! Let it go people! You have taken it to the point where you are being very unprofessional. Two year olds don't whine this much.

You are absolutely correct! Why doesn't Alan step up and help Erik out with the expense of making his car, at least, "presentable"? None of these post address that issue. Would you "let it go" if you were in Erik's shoes? I don't blame him a bit. It's going to cost him thousands to get the car right.

deal with it privately!!!!  You have made your point.

I notice that Alan has had the decency to not drag his differences with his customers into the public light on this forum. You, on the other hand...............

I think the point is Alan has been asked to make it right but he has made no effort... So "Settle your differences off the forum" hasn't worked... One way to persuade him to do so is to shame him for his lack of integrity...   If he does the right thing great, though I think it's pretty clear thats not gonna happen... So at the very least I want potential customers to be aware that not all is as peachy as Alan would like you to believe...

As long as no one points out his shortcomings these build threads are cheap advertising.... By causing a stink hopefully potential customers will do some research before committing to a bad choice...

If Erik's issues were only bolt on parts while it still wouldn't be right he could walk away & say water under the bridge... But the biggest issue is the paint job, so the car needs to be torn back apart completely & probably stripped to bare metal... Alan claims he thinks it looks good, well than clearly Alan is either blind or dishonest.... You Choose...

I hope Sydways AAR is much better than Erik's car...  I hope he's very happy with the job Alan does for him..... But I hope Alan's work load suffers greatly... This is a pretty small community.... And some are very uncomfortable with the boat rocking....

If you guys have a beef with Alan can you do it on your own thread? I'm sick of having to weed through this shit trying to follow a build. This is getting really old!

First off, earlier this month I contacted Cody via a PM on the down low. The purpose was to see what I could do about deleting my account on this forum. There is no "opt-out" button to be able to do so. The reply was there is no ability to delete an account. I am so sick of passing over threads written by the Pied Piper and his Kool-Aid drinking following. I was made aware of today's postings and after listening to Erik's half hour long phone call link, that was only further confirmation that I do not want to waste my time with this forum.

It is not my intention or ever was to use this forum for a free advertising platform for JS Restorations. I am a sponsor on a different Mopar forum where I speak more freely about my services.

My reasoning for reaching out to help Erik directly was after being informed by him that there were problems with both parts after taking delivery. This put me into "just solve these issues" for whatever it was going to take, which were documented on Erik's thread. Both of these parts provided were proven not be the cause of these conditions.

Back to my first point. For those that may want to contact me directly for help with services offered, I will be available via phone or email. However, my presence on this forum has come to an end.

Be careful. Don't get caught drinking the Kool-Aid or believing the hype.

Day #379
Took these pictures just now, was able to get the car pretty much finished. An aftermarket master cylinder and generic battery were not my first choices. :-[  Hoping to get the distributor soon and fire the engine before the holidays :)

As for this thread, not sure what more I can add....Maybe some nice pictures of it out side....  8) but that's it...

It seems a few members here can't refrain from their negative comments and we've ended up with a bunch of added nonsense for which I apologize for...in the future I don't think I'll do any more complete build threads because one of these members actually reached out to my customer to hassle him, and I just can't have that happen again.

Enjoy... :drinkingbud:

I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

Around 25 minutes into the recording Alan offered to repair the issues with the car. The offer was refused. I've been in business, if you offer to repair something you've messed up (yes stuff does happen) and the customer wants you to pay for repairs at the shop of his choice you generally don't fall for it.
Three sides to every story, but I heard Alan offer to repair it.
I've been gone for around a month, but don't plan on coming back, see you guys. Good luck with your "hobby".

To comment on another guys post in such a negative way without being asked is not cool. Its a personal attack and not cool. Sure Eric's car was a mess but this post is no place for that IMO .
This site is not about further inflating swollen heads  , making Cody and the other mods get involved to suit your ego is pretty selfish IMO.  Integrity can be lost in "other way" not just workmanship.....

THESE words are total bullshit!!!! :alan2cents:

The video provided by ErikR proves otherwise......

Can you you fix the wire harness I sent you , that had to be completely redone !!!!

Ok, let me correct it...  Erik doesn't want Alan to fix it, he's seen what Alan considers acceptable work....  He would like for Alan to pay for some of the costs associated with making his car presentable.... Which Alan isn't willing to do...
