Man, that's a lot of paint!

I like having it all sealed up on the inside too...plus it helps keep the dust down while painting the exterior panels....I see a lot of people just leave the floor pans in primer, but if you ever get water trapped under the carpet, primer will rust pretty quick in my opinion...but I'm not a body man...

Understood.  :bigthumb:

That's why Epoxy is the primer of choice, as long as it's not baking in the direct sun for years. Lacquer-based primer... not so much.

Looks great regardless.

anlauto

Yup, there's epoxy on there too

Looks Awesome Alan.   And one you can finally call your own !    Making some fast progress, trying to have her done for summer ?

Enticing me to go sassy when I get to my 71    Single stage ?

anlauto

It's been painted in base/clear.

It's a "long term" project so we'll see if it's out this Summer or not ;)

Mr Cuda

Well Alan, I've learned one thing from you for sure.  I was confused at first,  but now I know I can change the title of my thread during the thread!!
I'm lying,  bottoms up, and more.  Thought you had like 4 threads going.

I'm not "green" with envy, I know how much it will cost to finish putting this together.
I am curious "yellow" how you picked sassy grass over your previously stated favourite color.
