It's not a Chrysler color. It's the same color AAR painted their F1, Indy, Can Am, etc entries during that time period.

I'd think you could google it with some digging. I'd imagine it's come up before.

Try the plastic scale modeler forum groups. They are always asking about details like this.

Color off one of his earlier F1 cars

I wonder how many jars he would need  :Stirring: :haha: :haha: :haha:

He did say a "replica" never mentioned the size of the replica.  :pokeeye:
At the very least could get a color match worked up

I`d like to get a close match to the stripe colors for my project. I also found a couple suggestions for the blue on hobby sites but not sure just how close they are?

"Before the start of the season, the Challenger was dispatched to Ray Caldwell's Autodynamics for completion. Back at the AAR shop, the first two Barracudas were readied for the two-car effort. Gurney himself was entered in the #48, while the second car was fielded for the talented youngster, Swede Savage, who used #42. The cars were finished in the same deep blue metallic paint used by Gurney in the previous season's Can-Am championship."
