71 cuda headlight plastic trim ring

I have seen these both ways, what is the correct way? Is the inside of this ring suppose to be black? Satin or left chrome? If so how high up the inside is it? Thanks

Straight black or satin? Does it go to the start of the roll on the inside?thanks again

 :iagree: . . . I believe that flat is correct but satin would work too. 
I don't have a really clear picture of mine to see where the black stops.

Those pictures show them good enough,  I have a original but wasent sure if it was correct or not. I guess the best way will be taping them off and spraying them?
