Hi 2 all my Question is the black out behind the grill ,and head light buckets  should it be a flat black or a semi gloss thanks again

Rdchallenger

Should be satin black. Usually trim black works best.

What is the body color and is it a Challenger or Cuda? By your member name, I am guessing a Cuda. LOL
Black, Dark Blue, and Dark Green omit the Front End Area Blackout.
The factory blackout ages to a very flat black but was actually a semi-flat (near satin) black. Trim Black is a very, good match but Satin Black will work.
This article uses Trim Black and is a good guide for a Cuda.

FYI - What is your Scheduled Production Date (SPD)? If you are also planning on spraying the cowl blackout, the factory issued a engineering directive to cease cowl blackout application on 4/27/1970, immediately after the Trans Am production ended. Some cars may have gotten through in late-April/early-May but by mid-May the cowl blackout was not being applied on Cudas.
