The guy working on my car spread some body filler (bondo?) on one of the fenders and in some small areas inside the engine bay; I believe it's been sitting in an unsanded state for at least 3 months. I am not sure if the filler was put on bare steel or was spread over epoxy /e-coating. It may be continue to sit there, but he claims car is close to being primed. I was wondering if having unsealed/unpainted filler is a concern? Will the filler absorb water over time and possibly cause issues with the metal underneath and eventually the paint? Ideally, wouldnt you want to get it sanded and sealed fairly quickly (within a couple days), or is this a non-issue?

Inside you should be fine, He will know when he sands it down.  :alan2cents:
