Hi everyone,

Did a search, although did see anything as yet on best practices for removing decals while protecting the painted surface..

Please share your experiences.

These work well.

They have the same ones on Ebay for much cheaper but I couldn't copy the links they were way too long.  Just look up decal eraser and you will see all of them.

Good luck.

I've used them but be careful. Go slow speed or you will burn the paint.

This what I used Rapid Remover
It took off decals that had been on my car for over 20 years.

Put it on the decal, let it set for a couple minutes and scrape it off with a plastic blade.
Re-apply the solution on the decal glue residue  and scrape again. It came right off.
Did not effect the paint at all.

I was amazed at how well it worked
