My first new car was a 70 Challenger in FC8   Dark Metallic green.   I loved the color, it was very deep rich metallic dark green.

I have seen the New 2020 Challenger in F8 but in my opinion, it is no where as nice a color as the older F8...  Difference i believe was that the 1970 F8 was high metallic...   not so the new ones.  Frankly it looks more F7.

Just my opinion.

EF8 started as a 1968 Charger ONLY "spring special" color (for 1968 it was paint code "6") and was used 1969-1970

GF7 was a new for '71 "dark green metallic" & continued for '72

JF8 was the next variation of "dark green metallic" for '73

and it was replaced by KG8 for 1974

so, 4 different "dark greens" for 5 years of E-bodies
