Door jamb need picture

So, I finally have everything lined up and screwed together. Time to start welding. On the door jamb do I leave the seam from the quarter panel or is it smooth? Does it get seam sealer? I have to fix where I had to pie cut the quarter. Any pics would be helpful.

Do these help? The quarter overlaps the jamb. Not smooth looks like sealer present.
