So i finally got all the door regulators, door glass and 1/4 glass in.I've been trying to adjust the doors closing and had a small issue with them latching correctly.I searched the forum and found that the reason they weren't closing is because i had the striker pin adjusted to far in and it wasn't allowing the latch to close all the way.I didn't realize there were two clicks, safety first and then the actual lock.I was only getting the first click, the "safety click".So i adjusted the pin further out and all it would do is the safety click.Seemed like it was holding back solidly against something.I then noticed the white nylon slide the striker pin rides on in the latch wasn't sliding back to let the pin engage to the back of the door.I cut piece of small tubing to wedge the nylon piece back and the door closes perfect.Pull the tubing out and the nylon piece wont slide back and the door only goes to the first click.Thoughts?I'm using white lithium spray grease on the slide.Looks like the nylon piece is riding on a metal bar with a spring attached to make it return. Thanks for any input, sorry for the long description.

First question is what door striker are you using?  If you are using a repop one, get rid of them.  They do not allow the center part to spin when tightened. The originals have a rubber insert that allows the spindle to spin when the door starts to close.  RT specialties has the correct one.

Thanks Lemontwist.I actually have repops from Classic in there.I will be ordering the ones from R/T tomorrow.I did actually get the doors to close decently by adjusting the pins pretty high. What you are saying makes perfect sense.Theres no roller for the latch to engage with, just kind of drags across. Thanks for the heads up man.I'm glad i found the post on the double click and figured that out and got it to work. Now just to get them to work like they should with the correct striker.

I know this from experience.  I had the same issue. Once you get the right ones they will close like a charm
