I took a 2 day metal work course with one of Swedens best Hot Rod builders, got to try all kinds of expensive machines, and I made this copy of a trunk extension, I had a AMD that I measured on. Not perfect but I had lotsa fun doing it.

That is so cool. Would love to do that as well. Maybe in retirement.

Wow! Very nice.
I'm thinking my sheetmetal skills after two days of instruction would be a bit, uh, rougher.

Around 4-6 hrs maybe, hard to say working in a new place where I have find special tools and ask the teacher about some of the machines etc.

Now, look at the beads on the curved part, they are going the wrong way, they should go in, like the top part, but they go out, I screwed up and after I curved it with the english wheel, I put it upside down in the bead roller.  :)
I could have fixed it but I decide not to. Next one will be better!
