Pretty pumped to have gotten in to this class.      It's almost right after Carlisle so it worked out perfectly with my travel plans.  If anyone uses PPG products and wants to join me, you need to have your local PPG rep sign you up.  Let me know if I can help in anyway.

Also, this is a fairly new class and is only the 2nd time they have offered it.  It's being offered right near the Baltimore BWI airport in Glen Burnie, MD.

Looks like an interesting and educational seminar, and it's only 10 minutes away from me

And if you have the time, there's plenty of touristy things to do, like Baltimores Inner Harbor, historic Annapolis and the U.S. Naval Academy, and take a drive across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge ( you'd be surprised  that people are afraid to drive it and will arrange for an escort driver) go to Kent Island and get some Maryland Crabs and a good seafood dinner at the Fishermans Inn

Thank you for the recommendations.  If I have some time some of those sound fun.

I am new here, only been a member for a couple weeks.  Love this site.  We have a PPG rep stop in our shop every 3 or 4 months.  Looking forward to comparing notes with Cody.

Heading over now to the PPG training center.     I'll let everyone know how it goes.  They don't allow photos or recordings, but I'll try to take good notes.

just guessing that finishmasters are the host sponsor, and as for no recording,   guess that's for proprietary reasons

Long day, but very fun.  Learned a few new things and also confirmed a lot of what I was doing was already the best practices in the industries so that felt good.  Hope to earn another patch for my jacket.

No photos were allowed, but I tried to sneak some.  Then they took my phone away from me when we went in to the lab.  :foul:

The instructor had a spray out of the original FC7 Plum Crazy FACTORY color.... We are talking the same as the factory used.  This stuff has been gone for a long time.  We lined it up with the newer product lines (FC7) and neither of the newer PPG colors were very close to the original.  I hope to have more time to post some of my notes once I get home later in the week.

I sprayed this in Centari, twice. I still have bad memories from that experience. It's really a sensitive colour.
