Hey guys,

I have my new shaker baseplate seal and I have a question about installation.  I have the correct 3M weather and gasket adhesive and it's just like rubber cement where you apply a thin coat to all surfaces let it tack up and then install it.  Once it sticks, it's stuck there's no wiggle room.

My concern is if I put it on both sides of the inside of the gasket once the adhesive tacks up and I begin moving it that it will stick to itself.  What's the best way to install it without having that happen?  My though was to do one side at a time (top then bottom) or top and bottom in small increment's maybe 12" at a time.  But that seems like a lot of work something the factory would have never done for expedience.

What do you all think or suggest?  Thanks

Dave
