Don't have a pic, but it fastens to the bottom of the frame, driver side, tie rods pass through gap, splash shield, auto cars only.   jess

Yes, your steering linkage passes through the big opening...AUTOMATIC cars only

So are car WAS an automatic car.  Now it is a 4 speed manual.  I assume that I don't use this part then right?

Is t this typically called a starter splash shield? Curious why it would only be on a auto transmission 

I have one and have a MT but not sure how they came to be together.

Someone said that particular splash shield was actually to protect the throttle pressure kickdown linkage from snow/ice/slush accumulation.
