Whoops...trunk lock

I was out earlier in the year and my trunk lock stopped working. Got the trunk open, and found the nut on the back of the lock loose...hey easy fix! Tightened it up...SNAP!!! 1/4 turn too much!

Finaly ordered the new lock and got it fixed tonight!

I always go too far and too hard and end up breaking stuff myself.
Glad to see you got it fixed and thanks for the pics as future reference.

Do you have the cover for your lock and rods? If not, I have one I bought but did not see it was for the 72-74.
