Hello gang, I'm looking for recommendations for sourcing a 'cuda windshield. What vendor has good (and in stock) glass? Date codes are not important. Thanks,
Bill

Rich G.

My local glass guy got me a few. Don't know what brand they were but they were nice.

@Rich G. can you give me the number? Im going to be looking for a windshield soon.

Rich G.

@Matt13 Barts glass. +1 (732) 356-2492

Just bought an AMD windshield for my Barracuda from Summit Racing in Dallas Tx. on Monday. I'll have Wednesday with Free shipping.

Thanks Marty, sounds like a good option. I heard a while back that some of the AMD windshield glass wasn't sized right. Will be curious about your experience?

Rich G.

I got an AMD windshield for my challenger a few years ago and it was fine. I picked it up in Carlisle from Stephens Performance. Free shipping from Summit sounds like a good deal. At least you can return it if you don't like it.

I see that now. I somehow missed that post.  If I have any issues. Believe me... I'll let Summit Racing and the forum know.

Thanks, appreciate the tip!

I checked the fit of the windshield. It fit well and looked just fine. No worries there. The glass was heavy and thick and was packed very, very well. No chance of damage in shipping. As big and as heavy as the shipping box was, I'm surprised it was free (Freight) shipping.... per se. Anyway, I'm relieved and I'm good with it. :twothumbsup: AMD.

Thanks all for replies. I ordered a windshield from Auto City Classic, $279 delivered in three business days. Just a quick question for those who've replaced e-body windshields - does this look about right for the gaps between glass and frame?

anlauto

Yes, it looks correct. Make sure you install your trim clips first before the windshield  :alan2cents:
