Anyone going to SEMA this year. I just booked the hotel and flights attending on Thursday and Friday. This will be my first time ever going to SEMA. I think two days ought to be enough.

Two days will get a good chunk of it knocked out. I'll probably go again in 2021!

How does one get tickets? I have been told you have to be in the industry in some way which I am not.

I'd love to get a couple tickets hint hint

I work for a a heavy duty truck OEM and have access. Getting folks in requires a bit of forgery.

I have been to SEMA seven times. Stayed at a different Hotel/Casino on the strip each time. Compliments of General Motors. The SEMA Show is the largest convention show in the United States. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes. Tickets are in high demand and SEMA really checks  credentials when applying for tickets. Very hard to find a place to sit down unless you go to the building with all the latest seats. I took a rest and sat in a Recaro seat and ended up buying a pair couple weeks later. BTW, nothing is for sale there. At a fast pace it takes two full days to see everything. A "Bucket List" must do.

2020 looks like possibly going.

I just changed jobs as a Diesel mfg'r rep.

AAPEX is at the same time.

The guy buying my RT is coming from Sweden and hitting the SEMA show before swinging by to pick up his new car. He had connections.

After two days of constant walking and drooling, I have accomplished SEMA 2019 for the very first time. This is an amazing trade show and I am just glad that I got a ticket to get in. I covered all the show areas but might missed a few. The Chevy and Ford booths were bigger than FCA but I don't care. I filled out the FCA survey and got myself a free T shirt and a chance to win a price toward buying a FCA product. I also saw the Hellephant and Hellcrate engines. The all aluminum Gen III block got my daydreaming started. Also ran into a few TV celebrities including Dave R previously from GYCs.

I also stayed a llittle after the show and watched a few cars leaving. Very tired but I take the walk down the Blvd back to the hotel and watch a few more cars drive by. I know you guys want pictures and I took quite a few. I will post tomorrow when I get home.

Sema always has cool stuff.

After looking through some pics of this years sema it appears that everything has a tent on top of it.

It appeared to be a pretty weak sema this year.
