A friend of mine had a 1971 challenger convertible 318 car now has a 1979 360 in it orange color white top and interior automatic, it has a 20 year old restoration really good shape super nice car, I can't find a picture but I'm still looking,RT hood dual exhaust, took it to Mopar Nationals, he said people were around it all day Saturday, his best offer of the day was $67,500, he turn it down he thought the person would come back and offer 68,000 but the guy didn't come back, took it home put it on Facebook market place and a guy from Reno offer him 70,000 and it sold, my friend told me70,000 was what he had in mind to sell it for, I never thought he get that much, I guess the moral of this story is Shoot for the stars

That really sounds high.  I would have estimated 60 tops based on your description!
There was a FK5 G code '70 challenger convertible at Moparty last weekend that seems to be a good solid driver. It's from my area in the Chicago burbs.  I think he's asking $55k.

Here is the one for sale that was at Moparty last weekend.  It is owned by a member here who for some reason hasn't posted an ad for it here.

Looks good worth every penny and $50,000

For 50k, that is a great looking car. Hmmm, I'm just down in Peoria.
