Yup....almost $20K for a rust box 71 Barracuda....I told you they were the hottest ticket..

There were many bidders up to the 13s and three bidders above $17k. If that base model rust bucket is worth that much money, then my restored convertible base model has to be way above the mid 40 mark that the books claim it's at. Personally, I think the 71s are very tough to accurately assess value on.

Man, prices sure have risen lately.

Took me forever to sell my 71 383 Gran Coupe that was a TON straighter and only rust on it was the trunk pan for $15k 5 years ago.  Mint dashpad and nice interior too.
