I disagree on the colour. Refinished and shiny, that colour will make the car a standout.

I restored a V-code in that colour years ago, I agree looks great when new, but also agree it's not the best "re-sale" colour.

If I was to do this convertible over for myself....I think it would take a bit of convincing to change the colour, but if I had a customer pay me and he wanted to change the colour....I could see why.
I think as an investment a colour change could help the re-sale potential, but possibly hurt the value.

Thanks anlauto for some positive feedback. This car is for someone who wants an original cuda to use not flip. I have seen people quote you'll be upside down LOL. The same people buy a new car and lose half its value on trade in. Yes the car needs work. I do not think there are many barn finds left out there. I was never crazy about the color either so we can agree on something LOL.

Great example of a classic 71 Cuda 340 vert. I guess the real answer to pricing is to let the market speak. I will be watching closely.

I've owned a couple 71 Cuda  Verts that were in better condition for less money. But only because I watch for cars closely and fork up the money quickly.

I'm a buyer but would be in at 40k. I'm in Pennsylvania.

Good luck to you on your sale!  Please keep us posted.

Thanks for offer Finoke But no thanks i'll drag it to Florida and let my kids sell it after i'm gone

I see junk, incomplete 318 70-71 E-body convt's listed in the $30k range. I think your current list price is realistic, they aren't building anymore of these.

:iagree: and it doesn't compare price wise to a 1970 Cuda convertible, or Challenger , or 71 Challenger...heck it doesn't even compare to a 383 71 Cuda convertible....it's a BS27H1...very sought after cars and in a league of their own in my opinion. :alan2cents:

The color's fine, it's just that these days everyone is of the mindset they all have to be purple, red, glow worm green or orange. GK6 looks great in the sun!
Restoration costs are so high today, the car would probably be worth around 100K restored, but how much money would it take to get it there?

We know you mean GK6 ;)  I think one would have $140K-$150K invested in this $100K car once finished. :alan2cents:

unfortunately NO additional info that is not found on other documents you have (this version has all the punched info printed on the top line of the card),
:alan2cents:  but it is great documentation that confirms/ties it all together
