I suppose you have already seen this one for sale in Holland?

http://www.pedaltothemetal.nl/cars/2089/Plymouth/Cuda%20AAR%20!

The good color, the good transmission...what's wrong with it?

I am still in the market for an AAR Cuda. The car from PTTM in Holland, I have already visited  in October 2017. It is now in his showroom for more than a year.  I talked with Allan Galant over this car  and  made PTTM an offer  . One of my terms from the offer was that we wanted to make a testdrive and see the car on the hydraulic lift. I told PTTM that I would come with my friend Erik who knows a lot of Mopar and Cuda 's  and another friend who has a bodyshop. They got a little nervous, reacted strange and refused because my offer was too low and the fact that we would burn down the car with comment on Facebook so he could not sell it anymore.  Funny reason I think because I am not on Facebook but I think the real reason was that the car is not what it looks like and we would see that. PTTM told me that the car is numbers matching and original but you can see that the woodgrian instrument panel is not on the fendertag (A62). They also want the jackpot for that car (and every car) !! At the moment it looks like the car is sold. They prefer customers who are doing their investigation just superficial.
I want to thank you guys for all your stories and information. I have a good view of prices for an AAR at the moment. :bigmoney: I will continue with my search on the internet. I have also seen numbers matching made cars on the internet.  :haha:
I am also looking at other colours for the body but the interior must be black otherwise I had already bought an AAR. I will get one in time and I let you guys know what I have bought.. We still visit shows and meetings and more and more people know what I am looking for. The hunt goes on  :fingerscrossed:

@CudaHolland you could always buy this red automatic one... http://www.alangallantautomotiverestoration.com/FE5AAR.html  :D

@CudaHolland seems like an easy decision to make!!If you pay Alan to do it, you will have the peace of mind that there aren't any surprises lurking under the paint. Having a trustworthy shop with a great reputation is worth every penny.

I cannot believe that I was actually at PTTM when I was in the Netherlands. Unfortunately it was closed when I happened to be in town that day.

My ancestors are from the Sneek area.

Keep looking and you will eventually find what you want. Patience is key here, trust me on this one.

There is no discussion over the work that Alan makes as I already said on the 5th of May in this forum. His work is great but I don't think a bench seat and a column automatic shifter belongs to an AAR. Thats my personal opinion otherwise I would have considered to buy the ivy green AAR (78K) who stood for a long time on Hemmings.com.
I am trying to buy a numbers matching car with an TA engine

Here's another nice one:

https://greenville.craigslist.org/cto/d/1970-plymouth-cuda-aar/6712208286.html

Here an update about this car. I sent an inspector to that car and got the report. The car is a good driver but  a lot of work has to be done at this car according to the 100 pictures of the report. The price is  far too much for a car who could use a restoration. It is still for sale so not a real chance I think. The owner Mr Lee Hodge from Hodge Restorations  is not eager to do this himself .............

Also sent an inspector to this car and got a report with 130 pictures. I always look with my friends Will (who has his own bodyshop) and Erik ( Mr Mopar) to this report. In detail there were some issues we did not like. So we decided not to buy this car.

But now comes the good news !!! The same time a new AAR Cuda appeared at Ebay. I was fortunately faster than 2 other buyers and bought this car from Mr Lloyd Lind in Wendell (NC).  :takemymoney:
The car is frame off restored and the engine is rebuilt. The report from the car was just like Lloyd told me.  :perfect10:      So my search for my holy grail car is over. The AAR Cuda is now somewhere on the ocean and ETA in the port of Rotterdam is 6 December. :fingerscrossed:
I am very happy with the car and keep you informed when the eagle has landed :welcome:
