I pulled a set off of my car since it is not coded for them.  How rare of an option are they?  I can't say I see them often.
Contrary to the opinions of some, I am not dumber than I look.

Love mine!

Maybe @6bblgt has some numbers on this option?

I'll have to double check these numbers when I have more time  :crazytalk:

1970 Challenger R/Ts with M05 "door edge mouldings":
JS23 - R/T hardtop: ~1 of 8
JS27 - R/T convertible: ~1 of 4
JS29 - R/T SE: ~1 of 5

that seems like a lot  :unbelievable:

That does seem more common than I thought.  How about on non R/T cars?

Was that code shown on the fender tag? Also were they part of any other trim package?
I'm thinking they were like body side moldings, probably common to see back in the day but rare now because few people install them when restoring their car.

anlauto

Not on the fender tag, but on the BCS, Dan would have to tell us if it was a package thing

Here's a 1970 sample

Well,  I don't want/need them so I'll list them for sale.
