71 Cuda heater hose bracket

A friend of mine has a 71 Cuda, 340 with A/C.  He just asked me if an A/C car still uses the heater hose bracket mounted to the head by the alternator.  He found a diagram that suggests the hoses were just strapped to the A/C lines.  Does anyone have the answer?  Pics? Thanks

This was advertised as an original car.  Not sure if this will show the strap or not.  Hope it helps.

The big blocks don't use a bracket, I doubt the small blocks do either
