I was watching this video that Rocket Restorations dropped on Youtube yesterday and it rang a bell as one I'd seen listed some time back that someone posted a link to on a forum.  I recalled looking at the link the person had posted on it and when I saw the picture of the fender tag said to myself (and quickly responded to the thread) "wait what?? an AAR built in October and painted a color that wasn't available for until 4 or 5 months later?  Who are they trying to fool?"
So I was surprised to see Toms video that the car is still circulating and been through 2 major auctions.  I dug through my picture folders and found a picture I'd saved of the tag when I saw that post I am referring to, and the datestamp on the image is from 7-1/2 years ago!  I just searched the VIN on the interweb expecting to find posts on the car being a fake but only found it referred to in auction listings, so am putting it in the header here in hopes it can be found in the future by potential buyers uneducated on AARs enough to not know they didn't make them until early 1970, not fall of '69!!

I saw a video not long ago that said AARs had rolled rear fender lips and the 6th strobe stripe forward of Cuda was a little wider than those on each side. True ?

From what I've been able to figure out, AARs were supposed to have rolled inner fender aka 15" fenders, but in the end some did, some didn't.
T/As were supposedly going to have them but I've never seen one that had them.
I don't know anything about the stripe issue.

My AAR didn't have the rolled fender lips.

As far as the stripes go an original stripe could have a wider 6th from the end strobe, but that would be the exception. I have 2 sets of NOS stripes, one on the car and an extra set and they don't have the wider strobe.
