Ben Snobar owned and operated ShakerHoods.com.  He had a lot of really hard to find parts for E-Bodies, but he passed away a few months ago.  A really well trusted Mopar guy (Tom Hergert) will be taking over the business.  Tom owns Rocket Restorations (www.rocketresto.com) and will be filling orders for Ben's business 2 times a week as he helps Ben's family after the passing.  This is great news for E-Body fans as Tom is a trusted member of the Mopar community.    :woohoo:

Thumbs up for Tom!  Nice of him to help out in this time of family loss . . .  :clapping:
Drive it like you stole it . . . And they're CHASING you!

That is excellent news! I was wondering what was going to happen with the business.
Life's too short to drive boring cars

I spoke with Ben quite a few times.

He said to me on the phone he had to do repeated trips to his offshore manufacturing on a regular basis.

Sorry to hear about Ben,   He made some great parts.   A real asset to the community.

I'm glad to hear that someone will be continuing the business.
I see that the website is down.

I was hoping to order an E body trans am air cleaner setup from him.
What is the best way to place an order now?

Cuda Cody

Use the same website.  Tom from Rocket Restorations is taking over and filling orders.   :clapping:

I tried that, but it seems like the website is down.   Is this the right website?   (It's been years since my last order.)
http://www.shakerhood.com/

All I get is a white page with the following text
Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '../configure.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/php:/usr/services/vux/lib/php') in /data/51/4/108/106/4760758/user/5637830/htdocs/index.php on line 5

Does the website still work for you guys?

Cuda Cody

No it does not work for me.  I heard that the site when down the day after he agreed to help the family run the business.  And that the family does not have a lot of the password and settings so they are trying to get it back up and going.   You should be able to get a hold of Tom here..

I let Tom know you're trying to get to the site and get info.
