OK, thanks for the advice on earlier bumpers on my 1973 Cuda.
Now my question to you is this: where is the best place to get new bumpers, bumper guards, and brackets?
I also need new Cuda 340 hood emblems, a Plymouth emblem for the front nose, and a Cuda emblem for the rear near the license plate. As always, any help and input is greatly appreciated.
Is AMD a good source? I've had some bad luck with Classic Industries, so I am a little hesitant to go there.
Thank you.

Jukin, I don't have tha "Cuda" emblem but I do have the "By Plymouth" emblem that accompanys the Cuda emblem. It is used and OE for the 72-74 Cuda, still looks nice. Let me know if it's something you could use. Thanks,   Al

The "by Plymouth" emblem was used on ALL 1971-1974 Cuda's and Barracuda's FYI.

Classic Industries sells the best quality chrome bumpers, WAY better then AMD bumpers. :alan2cents: If you don't like CI, reach out to David or Jon at Roseville Moparts, they sell the same bumpers and you get a member discount They are an excellent one stop shop for everything you will need :worship:

Thanks for keeping me straight on the emblem years, beings that you restore our cars. The one I have available is OE and decent condition. 71-74 it shall be. If Jukin is looking for one maybe we can work something out. Thanks Alan,     Al

So, who makes the Classic bumpers?

Classic sells GoodMark bumpers or Keystone ???? who knows who makes them. They are stamped in Taiwan and sent to the USA where they are prepped and triple plate chromed in the USA.....AMD bumpers, for comparison are chrome plated in Taiwan.  Big difference :alan2cents:

My car doesn't even have the "by Plymouth" emblem. I suppose I should put one there if I'm trying to make this look correct. Personally, I think it looks better without, but I should probably do what's correct.

I'm confused...You're installing 70-71 bumpers, but you're worried about it looking correct ? Not sure I follow

You make a great point there. I just hate the big bumper guards on my 73. The tucked-in look seems so much nicer. And don't really want to jack slots either, since I would never use the factory jack anyway. I'm hanging onto my bumpers and brackets that I'm taking off, but thought the earlier bumpers would look good, especially without those filler strips that go between the bumper and the body.
While I've got you, I have a badge on the nose of my 1973 Cuda that just says "Plymouth" and don't see that offered anywhere. Was that stock?
As always, appreciate any input and advice from you guys, thank you!

1971-74 Barracudas and Cudas had a chrome Plymouth emblem on the driver's side front corner of the hood...maybe   0.5" X 5" in size

I've never been a fan of the 1973-1974 bumpers. If I had one, the bumpers would have to go....
