Challenger TA radiator

Does this radiator neck look pushed down or are they suppost to angle like this

 Here's photos of the radiator in my 71 340. It's original. Looks like it may be pushed down some.

I wonder if it worth wile trying to pull it up level or is it best to leave it alone

 I had a radiator with that same problem on my 74 Charger. The only way to have it repaired properly was to have the tank removed and the neck area straightened out and then the tank soldered back on. I had a new core installed while the shop was at it. I figured trying to straighten it myself may ruin/distort the cap sealing area. It came back much better from the shop.

I would be worried about cracking it, trying to straighten it  :alan2cents:

I agree, solder welds aren't for strength and these are old solder welds, not worth the risk, IMHO

Unless this is the last item needing attention, I'd leave it alone and worry about it once the radiator needs service.

Yea I guess I'll leave it for now no sense making a mess out of it for now and wait for future repairs
