Just read about this crash that happened last night in Adelaide Australia. News article states 51 year old driver is in critical condition. No other details in the article.

Yeah, not a lot of information. This was cut and pasted from what I could find.

In a separate incident, a man was seriously injured in a crash on London Road at Mile End South, in Adelaide's west.

Police said they were called to the scene about 10:45pm after an orange Plymouth Barracuda had hit a stobie pole and a tree, and caught alight.

The 51-year-old driver, who was the sole occupant, was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a critical condition.

Major Crash Investigators attended the scene and police wish to speak to anyone who may have been driving in the area at the time of the crash, or anyone who has dashcam footage that may have captured the vehicle.

Another one bites the dust, such a shame.
Hope the driver is okay.

Nobody pinned on the Map from what I checked in that area.

Never seen an orange Cuda in Oz, might be new arrival. Nothing on our local FB pages. :crying:
Cheers....

I never liked seeing bad accidents. I hope the driver was wearing the seat belt. After seeing that, I wish my Cuda had air bags!

I too wish they had safe aftermarket air bags for our older cars but as always the most important component is using the safety belt.
Upgrading to the later model shoulder belts can be a major safety boost

We had a discussion at an accident victim extraction coarse i took. After forty miles per hour, may god be with you. I have seen mangled twisted wreckage were no one was hurt in. then there were the ones that I have repaired heavier damaged vehicels, but there was no one to fix it for.     :alan2cents:
