Many years back I bought one of the space saver clones that the late Jules D'Addio used to sell. If I'm not mistaken, he made them up using regular mopar 14" steel wheels and got the tires out of '70s-era firebirds & camaros that also use the BF Goodrich space saver tire. Yeah the date codes and etc. would be off a little but you ended up with a unit that looks authentic without the big price of a real one. It might be possible to still find some of this stuff in a local junkyard.
