I've got two dented up door skins. I've spot weld pulled some of the dents, in other areas there are holes drilled from old school dent pulling.

Rust holes in a couple areas on one of them. What is the determining factor of repair v replace?

A number of factors - how much time to repair vs install new skin, how bad it is and can it be fixed/straightened without too much filler needed? It may also depend on your skill set - skinning a door isn`t all that hard to do but can be botched just as trying to repair can make it worse if you do not know what you are doing. I also do not know the quality of new door skins - how muc work do they need and are they the same thickness as original?

Oregon, but I do have some vacation I am burning soon and need a road trip destination... Now if someone has a 71 Grille I'll be in business. :)

"Oregon, but I do have some vacation I am burning soon and need a road trip destination" LOL, not likely enough to justify driving to Ontario,  :canada:  Good luck with your quest nonetheless.
