Could you please take a look at this page and let me know if you see anything that needs added or corrected?

https://www.e-bodies.org/resources/mopar-chrysler-10000-day-calendar-date-code/1970-model-year-engine-trans/

Our goal is to have any and all information for E-Bodies that anyone could ever need all in one site.  These date code stampings on the engines and transmissions can be a little hard to decode so the plan is to make a simple page where people can look to get all the info they need without it being confusing.  Please let me know your thoughts.

Here's a sample photo of what you will find on the pages:

T = Trenton, Michigan Plant (383-400-440)

Good question.  I do not have a slant 6 E-Body yet so I can not confirm it.  Anyone have a slant 6 that can confirm the build location?

I'm thinking it might be Trenton for the slant 6's?   :thinking:  Still looking in to it.  Let me know if you find anything.

I've removed the info until we can confirm the location the slant 6's were built.  That's what greats about website, we can continue to make them more accurate as information becomes available.

QuoteThe slant six replaced an old flat-head design starting in 1960 models, and lasted in US-built cars through 1983, in US-built trucks until 1987, and as a marine engine until 1991. After leaving its original plant in Trenton, Michigan, the six was produced at Chrysler's Toluca, Mexico engine plant.

 :clapping:  Thank you for the help!

Here's a 1970 Slant 6 from Trenton.   :twothumbsup:  I'll continue to research this and updated as needed.
