So I purchased new rear brake lines many years ago.  I go to install them today,  :wrenching: and they appear too short.  Package label states the correct application, but  :help:

Thoughts?

Most likely mispackaged, they are likely B-Body lines.

Thank you.   :handshake:

New lines ordered.  Anyone need some B-Body rear brake lines?  I don't think I can return these after 10+ years.  :haha:

I would order from Fine Lines....The Paddock ? Are they still around ? Depending on how fussy you are you could likely make those work as well :alan2cents:

I think The Paddock is long gone.  I ordered the new set (as well as fuel pump to carb lines) from Classic Industries.  I'm fairly fussy, so...I'm sure I could make these work, but then not be able to sleep at night.

:haha: yea me too....I certainly would lose sleep over a short cut like that... :drinkingbud:

Wonder if they would fit a '69 Roadrunner

I can measure the lines if that helps.

Passenger Side: 36"
Driver Side: 15.25"

I just had the same issue with a brand new set from fine line for the 8 3/4" sure grip in my 73 challenger .
The label said they were good for all 8 3/4" 70-73 e body 8 3/4's; turns out they only fit Dana 60's (this was a stainless set).
Went to a local parts guy and bought a steel set and they fit perfectly.
I'm thinking the label on my first set is misleading.

Now I'm concerned about the new set I ordered yesterday.  Here's the description:

"ERA7001S - 1970-73 Mopar E-Body With Dana Or 8-3/4" Rear Axle 2 Piece Stainless Steel Rear Axle Brake Line"

In 1970-74 All E-Body rear axle brake lines should be the same reguardless of whether or not it's a Dana 60 or 8 3/4  :alan2cents:

That's what the label on my set said.
Let us know what happens when your new set arrives

I don't have a photo of the label on my first set unfortunately as I used them in partial trade for my new set that fit nicely.
The guy I got my new set from is a large Mopar only parts specialist and said he had ran across this before.
