I was going to mention this one, but I thought it was a little pricey, $35K CDN is about $28K USD.....
It's also a 4speed  :(' ........................Hey, but it's blue and has round taillights  :takealook:

How hard is it to get a car across the border like that, anlauto?  Except for the rats nest of wires behind the dash (the one thing I'm actually comfortable fixing! :) ) it looks pretty clean.  Kinda looks B5'ish but I don't hate that color, and after riding around in @Spikedog Rules!'s 4-speeds a few times it's made me consider getting one (no stranger to manuals, just enjoy the nostalgia of my dad's old '72 340 auto.

Does the title transfer to the US okay?  Is there crazy inspections or things I have to do to title it here?  Or is that a state-by-state thing?  Do I have to pay taxes on it across the border and then again when I register it in my state?

Just curious - something I never really considered before.

I would imagine you'd have to ask an American, I have no idea what it takes to import a car into your country.
I would recommend a transport company that could handle everything for you.
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

It's quite easy going that way. A broker can handle it for you if you wish and they don't charge much. Some transport companies don't run the U.S. and Canada so I would be tempted to rent a trailer and transport it myself. Contact border services and find out what you need for paperwork. It's not a big deal.

My only auto-transport experience was a wretched one...  I'd probably avoid that route at all costs.  :)

Must be 72-74 - round taillight required.
Not interested in matching numbers
I'm a little picky on paint - Viper GTS Blue
For $25 you should be able to find something decent, but you'll probably have to paint it!  72-up don't really hang with the big boys, so I usually see a majority of them on Craigslist and facebook rather than paying sites.  If you haven't tried it, SearchTempest is wonderful now for CL. Facebook, though, well, ugh.  http://autos.searchtempest.com/

It took about 30 seconds to find these ads:

Bonus on this is it's a 440 with Fuel Injection and shaker hood:

I saw that gray one on Ebay, but man it looks like it was really cut up during it's pro-street life.  I imagine the interior is all hosed up for parts of that roll cage that are left behind.

Seems like only major issue is a quarter dent

...and that 71 grill...  :)  lol - I must be the only person who doesn't really like the '71's...

I've always found that to be a fascinating color.  In the sun it's gorgeous, but in a dark garage it looks like

                        That car nice.    :woohoo:

That car is 90 minutes from me.  It was for sale on eBay about 2 weeks ago (ended without reserve being close to met) - problem is that's my price range maybe 2 years from now, but not now.
