I do remember going with my dad to a Dodge dealership and seeing a row of e-bodies, I remember for some odd reason the crush can on the steering column ...

That is so weird as that is exactly what I remembered about them too when I first saw them ... the "crush can" of all things!
Cheers!

Tis' better to have owned classic Mopars and lost than to have never owned at all (apologies to Alfred Lord Tennyson)

4 speed rallye hood.
It's my favorite hood.       Win.

Very surprised by the results.  :unbelievable:  I would have thought it would have been the other way around.

I've had both hood and as much as I love my shaker I'd never give up that pistol grip!

the_cuda_guy

If I'm buying the cuda it would shaker/auto

If I'm buying a Challenger it would be the 4sp and the scooped hood.

Needed to have 4 speed Cuda with Shaker as an 3rd option.  That would've really changed things up.  :D

I'm just not a Shaker fan on either model. I understand the appeal but I prefer the sport hood or AAR hood more. 4 speed Pistol Grip is about as good as it gets!  :burnout:

Good question, when I was younger it would have been 4spd.
Now that I'm older, and having had several manual cars, I would definitely get the auto.
Loved my 71 LS5 4spd Corvette, but the shifting got old if you really drive the car and not just cruising occasionally.

I know some wil disagree, but you can't shift faster than an auto.

I would go 4 speed/rallye.  My auto has a full manual valve body with a BM shifter so I play like it is a manual, but it still doesn't beat a pistol grip.

I really LIKE Shakers but I really LOVE 4 speeds .......    :inlove:

I'd take the 4 speed pistol grip and the performance hood. Shakers are great hoods but take too long to get of to adjust those troublesome carburetors!

Take your auto and 'stick it!'
Easy choice for me. Prefer 4 speeds and not really a fan of the shaker.

Wasn't sure what to expect from this thread when I clicked on it. When I hear the
phrase 'would you rather...' the question is usually..a...little more ..uh...colorful. lol

RUNCHARGER

I'd hit them both, 4 speed and shaker would be must haves. On a HemiCuda (actually any Cuda) the rallye dash is a must have for me as well. No way I could look at that Cyclops no matter what the rest of the car has.
