.You guys got it easy...no taxes going your way because the car was manufactured in the USA...Usually a good shipping company will take care of all the border paper work for you..

It's certainly not my top choice of color, but it sure is a pretty-looking car.  I shall have to show the wife...

I brought a car from the USA to Canada and it was quite easy. The only requirements were to have the purchase details sent to the US side of the border three days before I exported it to Canada. Which was to prove (and have time for the US officials to check) it was not stolen and there were no liens on the vehicle. On the Canadian side, I just had to pay sales tax.
Probably similar for you going in the opposite direction?

Yes your drivers licenses work here, you would have to do the paper work, transfer of title etc, then you could get a 10 day temporary permit to drive on Canadian streets to drive it home. I'd call the border for all necessary things to have done/to do. I sold an srt10 to a guy from new york and thats all we did. He had the proper paper work done and said it was a breeze at the border.
