This is one of three that I am considering the other 2 are in the US.
Hard choices but unfortunately all are not close enough to me for a quick casual inspection.
Hopefully, one will come up for sale closer.  :ebay:

@nsmall
Hey Neil, how's it going?
You saying it is like your car is really a super big compliment as your car is a great looking ride. I somehow don't think it matches your car but if it comes even close it may not be a bad deal.
Still leaves me the same problems of logistics. Maybe will have to take a ride to Canada if no one else buys it
If your down Riverside way anytime give a call. They have a few car shows in the area that are pretty good. Good hearing from you, Ray

Ray, That's the beauty of this website, there's likely someone close enough that you could persuade/bribe them to do a preliminary inspection... If everything checks out to their satisfaction then you should go have a look too before spending your money but if the person who's local sees some glaring red flag you'll know about it without taking a trip to Canada.... Though this time of year a trip to Canada isn't so bad & I hear they have pretty good beer...  Which BTW you would be obligated to buy for the person who did the preliminary inspection..

:iagree: and  :iagree: and finally  :iagree:

That one looks so nice and for 24k, that's a great deal based on the pics.

Ask for more pictures, be specific....if you like the pictures, it's cheap enough buy it sight unseen, if you don't like it...sell it again. :alan2cents:

Every car I've sold went sight unseen for a lot more money... :dunno:

Randy, That's great and logical advice, thank you.  :iagree:

OK, without obligating anyone that lives close by according to our Members Map  :canada: I would be more than willing to pay not only for the Beer  :haha: but also the gasoline and a meal.

Alan,Thank you also, your expertise and experience is definitely giving me something to ponder on concerning this particular car.

@CudaMoparRay  if you wanted to hire a third party inspection...Contact Allan Lewis, this guy is fantastic and very honest... http://vintagecarconnection.com/

He'll give you the straight scoop for sure. He inspected one of my cars for a buyer from Vancouver BC...unbelievable the time he took and the questions he asked.

I don't know what it cost, but well worth it...He was telling me that the buyer of my car rejected 5 others because of his inspections...so spend a couple of hundred, save tens of thousands.

:iagree: Definitely a consideration depending on whether he calls me back and sends pictures as requested.
I called him yesterday and left a message.

Meanwhile keeping an eye on the other two contenders as well

The owner never called back so this is no longer an option. Back to the drawing board!  :bye:
