Too bad no documentation.

That one is really close to me. It's been talked about around here for a few months. I hear it's really rusty underneath.

71GranCoupe

No floor on the drivers side gives you a good idea what the rest will look like. The trunk lid is another good indicator. Savable, but will be more Taiwanese than US/Canada when complete.  :headbang:

I offered $5,000 for it through a friend but I never got a response.  The rallye dash and 4 speed stuff would've looked good in my U code Convertible....

I hope it gets saved because it is so complete. It will take a dedicated tin horn to do it though. The current bid of $5600 is fair value for it IMO.

I agree with you it should be saved. Looking at the pictures in ad it doesn't look bad. When it was described to me a couple of months ago I was fairly sure it was going to be a parts car. It looks way better then I imagined but I still think the undeside might be pretty bad.

Husk Challenger

Current bid 12k $

Isn't it a bit crazy?
Challenger 73' 383ci 4spd ---> SOLD
Challenger 71' 318 904 RT clone ---> Stroker 318/392 Tf 727!

Yes. I was guessing it might get close to $10,000 but I didn't see it going over.

RUNCHARGER

Too high: That won't leave enough budget for the tin it needs. $12k for that plus $8k for the SE shell  (for repair parts) in another thread and you're at half the cars perfectly restored value. This one will sit for a couple more decades when the buyer figures that out I reckon.

Too high in my opinion. Cool car though. I'm sure people just see FC7 and 4 speed and go crazy.....

Lots of $$$ for that project.

I smell some shill bidding going on.

I have a feeling the car will be back on E-bay again....

Then again, a bidding frenzy over an original FC7 4 speed R/T Challenger sounds pretty good to me..... :bigmoney:

what a shame! That color combo is beautiful! and a 4spd. No fender tag though. Too bad !!

Looks like the high bidder bids on all types of cars and only has 6 bid retractions in the last 6 months :crazytalk:
