In the end, it worked out for eveyone and I learned a lesson.

Next time I'll just say first come first served and I can avoid this altogether. Also I got to hear an interesting story of another 1970 Cuda in the outer reaches of the Bay Area. Looks like he has a long way to go since the windshield was bashed in and left in the weather.
