Thanks for watching the videos. Yea, I would agree the subject may not be very exciting for some, the videos aren't really intended to be entertainment by any means. More aimed at demonstrating/clearing up some long-held misconceptions about this charging system and the ammeter specifically. The Mad article is still out there somewhere, still seeing it linked to continuing the mythical "spontaneously combusting" ammeter discussions from time to time. Most seem miss the point that the article was about the fiasco of the later plastic framed ammeter in late-seventies Dodge trucks. Bulkhead connector charge path terminals have been the weakest link in the charging system since day one. Adding loads at the battery just makes the issue worse by placing the ammeter and related connections well outside of the current they designed to handle.

I'll jump on the wagon HP2 started with my thanks.  I swapped over to the C-Body bulkhead bypass you talked about in one of your videos.  There was an ebay seller practically giving NOS harnesses away at 10 dollars shipped so the upgrade decision was easy too.  Thanks again for your efforts and answering my question in some of your videos!
