Help tracing a wire
« on: October 18, 2020, 12:00:14 PM »
I replaced the intake, and for the life of me cannot find where this brown wire connects to on my 1974 Dodge Challenger 318 with A/C. I have pictures before I took it apart, but none of that particular wire. Thanks for any help.

You don't necceccarily have to have the electric washer for that wire to be present. My car originally had the foot pump but that brown wire was there just dangling. To be sure you can check to see if it goes to pin#19 of the bulkhead connector in the engine bay.

Yup John is right on this...all the cars had the brown wire for the windshield washer pump regardless of whether or not they had the electric pump or not.

Thanks for the help everyone. Now I know why I don't remember removing it, never did I guess. I'll just leave it dangling.
