I have  new M&H harnesses on my 70 Challenger.  The horn works when the key is off and in the accessory  position.  The horn quits working when the key is turned to the on/run position.  The horn relay is different than my original. Can anyone tell me if the wiring for the relay is correct. Here's a pic of the relay and what wire goes to what terminal. Any help would be appreciated.

Did this relay come with the harness?  I did mine in my 70 earlier this year and everything was plug and play with the new harness and it came with the updated relay.

I will crawl under my dash tonight and see what goes where and try to snap some photos for your reference.

Just had a look at my 1974 wiring diagram for the horn relay circuit and it appears that your wiring is correct based on the diagram you have provided.

Yes, this is the relay that came with it. Just wondering it they might have got the violet and green wires location swapped and causing my issue.

Also the terminal on the back that the violet wire goes to has a G by it. Wouldn't the black ground wire go to this terminal?

Don't understand why they would provide you with a relay that is internally wired differently than the original if they provide you with a harness and bulkhead that is terminated as per original factory wiring??

FWIW, here's the back of a '71 & up OEM fuse box.

Thanks. I guess that parts good. I appreciate the help.
