I'm not sure if this fits better here or over in the body/sheet metal forum.  I am working to get my car ready to go for paint, and trying to run down the last few odds and ends I know of before that happens.  One of the remaining items are the sheet metal tabs that are used to hold the tail light wiring harness up along the driver's 1/4 panel along the trunk gutter.  My car has a replacement quarter panel and trunk gutter on it, and the tabs aren't there.  I haven't ever seen these available by themselves, but they certainly don't look too hard to make either.

For anyone that has had to make one before, what rubber coating did you use to protect the wiring?  I was thinking something like Plasti Dip over a thin sheet metal would work.

Thanks.

I'm not sure of the urgency you are in, but I was in the process of making some for my project. I can make it a few extras.

Which style are you looking for in particular?  I still have some available that we made up years ago.

I am looking for the ones like shown in this picture above the tail light housing.  Straight piece with one end spot welded to the chassis and a rubber coating on the other end.
